The lakes known as the Kachura Lakes are located in Gilgit-Baltistan's Skardu District in northern Pakistan. Upper Kachura Lake and Lower Kachura Lake are lakes, with an elevation of 2,500 meters (8,200 feet). The rugged topography of the Upper Kachura Lake keeps most tourists from visiting. In Pakistan's stunning north, the Lower Kachura Lake, sometimes called Shangrila Lake, is a natural treasure.
