The Kachura Lakes are three lakes in Gilgit-Skardu Baltistan's District in northern Pakistan. Upper Kachura Lake and Lower Kachura Lake are located at an elevation of 2,500 metres. Upper Kachura is a 70-meter-deep natural water lake with clear water. The temperature is nice at 15 degrees Celsius in the summer, while in the winter, the surface is frozen, creating a magical atmosphere. This lake is also close to the upper Indus River.
