Lower Kachura Lake

Lower Kachura Lake is one of two Kachura Lakes in Pakistan, the other being the Upper Kachura Lake in Gilgit-Baltistan. The Shangrila Resort is also located on the shores of the world-famous Shangrila Lake. The lake is located at an elevation of 2,500 metres (8,200 feet) above sea level. The lake is 15 degrees Celsius (59 degrees Fahrenheit) in the summer and frozen in the winter.
