Gondrani Caves are located about 20 km to the north of the ancient town of Bela and 175 km from Karachi, in Lasbela District of Baluchistan. Due to the absence of archaeological knowledge about these caves, many people attach different myths & legends to these caves.
History of Gondrani Caves
There is no authentic history relating to the caves but many local legends have been made popular about the caves which mostly becomes the source of its attention. One popular legend relates a story of an unknown king and his daughter Badiul Jamal from the era- of King Solomon. She was haunted by demons and the king called 7 leaders from different areas to save his daughter but eventually the prince of Saif-ul-Mulk defeated the demons. The learned opinion of the site suggests its association to a Buddhist civilization as the site shows Buddhist characteristics.

You can reach these caves by traveling 15 to 18 kilometers north near to the city of Bella in Balochistan, the other way to reach this historic site is through using Karachi-Quetta Highway N-25 which is formerly known as RCD Highway.
