Hingol National Park Balochistan
Situated in the Makran coastal region, and 190 km away from Karachi. It is spread over Lasbela, Gawadar, and Awaran districts of Balochistan province.it is established in 1988. This land shows the beauty of unique rock formation. There are various captivating landscapes, sceneries, wildlife species, and mud volcanoes that grab the attention and collect the appreciation of tourists.
The most interesting location near the Hingol Park is kund malir which is crystal clear shiny water with a clean beach.it is an amazing beach with palm trees on the shoreline. This beach is also known as Golden Beach. The bank of the sea provides a peaceful and soothing environment.
It is said that unique natural rock formation in this region Such as sphinx (mythical creature) and princess of hope is the result of wind and rain. The rock formation is known as the loin of the Balochistan. The princess of hope is a statue of women standing high on a mountain running along Makran Highway. It leaves everyone spellbound. This rock gained the attention of the whole world when famous Hollywood actress Angelina Julie came to visit this park and admired the beauty and named this rock princess of hope.
Another important feature in this park is the mud volcano which is the highest volcano in the world. It is amazing to see the mud bubbling up; it makes you feel as if this is not earth. Mud eruption along with methane gas is worth seeing the sight.
In Hingol national park Hinglaj temple is also present.it is a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindus. It is a famous tourist spot and is considered the oldest temple in the world by historians. Every year thousands of Hindu pilgrims visit to worship.
Moreover, Hingol Park is known for different wildlife species including ibex, leopard, fox, jackals, and wild goats. There are many varieties of bird species like the golden eagle, owl, Egyptian vulture, and woodpeckers.
