Perhaps it highly unlikely that anyone is unaware of the Gwadar port. Thousands of articles on an international forum are published on it. They are calling it the game changer, pie in the sky, and new Dubai. The port folds some significant economic and strategic importance. Gwadar port is the deepest seaport of the world and is located at the mouth of the Persian Gulf. It is a warm water seaport and has the power to boost Pakistan’s economy by 60%. Due to its trade significance, it is estimated to bring $2 to 2.5 billion per year to the economy of Pakistan within a few years of its completion.

An exciting and intriguing fact about this seaport is that ships that land here don’t require any lifter or crane to bring it to the shore. No matter how huge the ship is, it directly some to the coast with complete convenience. Gwadar port is believed to be a game-changer for the entire region as an economic corridor CPEC. Everyone is well aware of being constructed there between Pakistan and China. It will open doors to trading it the whole world as this sea route is of great importance. It is believed to create over 40,000 job opportunities for skilled and unskilled people. The port will soon be the trade hub in Asia, the busiest shipping port in South Asia by 2022.  

Apart from its import and export potential, Gwadar is magnificent and scenic. It can serve as a great vacation spot and is surrounded by water from all sides. Its stunning beaches and the Gwadar cricket stadium have caught the attention of all. The Gwadar cricket stadium presents such beautiful features which cant be seen in any cricket stadium in the world. For this reason, ICC shared a picture of this stadium on their social media account and called it the most picturesque sports venue they’ve ever seen. Moreover, the stadium is surrounded by natural hills and has left many in awe.

Other points worth mentioning include the Sphinx, Omara beach, Hammerhead, and Astola island. The coastal line of Makran has stunning rocky cliffs and among them is this Sphinx. One might have thought to go to Egypt to witness one a, but now you can see this wonder in your own country.  The Omara beach is one of the eye-catching beaches in Gwadar. It presents a scenic of both water and mountains. Finally, Astola Island is situated near the shore of the Arabian Sea in Gwadar District. It is declared the first marine protected area of Pakistan and deserves a visit.
