Chillam Joshi festival is a four-day festival celebrated in the hopes of attracting a mate. This event is a wonderful way to mark the start of summer while still delivering a signal of goodwill around the globe. The citizens of Kalash worship for the protection of their lands and livestock during this celebration. Kalash residents love art along with the rhythm of drums. During the celebrations, both males and females enjoy these experiences of singing alongside. The Kalash are known for traditional gatherings of dancing and music. These groups are heretics, and their history and practices have been passed on for centuries. Tourists can enjoy the accessible cemetery, Kalash Museum, ancient Mosques, and the lovely tropical landscapes of Hindukush.
The tribe of Kalasha claims that perhaps the agricultural god Sorizan preserves their cattle in the fall and cold weather, and they celebrate this belief by holding a winter holiday to praise Sorizon. Goshidai, who’s known to be the second God, guards the cattle in the warmer weather and is also honored at the Chilam Joshi celebration.
The celebration makes unmarried Kalasha boys and girls extremely happy since they get a chance to choose their soul mates and during the event.
