Witness the depiction of Great Mughal architecture, History Exploring, the life of the rulers of Chitral, and religious monuments by visiting these two masterpiece buildings in Chitral.
Shah Mosque is a wonderful building. Shahi Mosque was built by Shuja Ul Mulk in 1924 AD. C. Shuja Ul Mulk was the ruler of Chitral, or rather the Governor of Chitral, from 1895 to 1936. This mosque building is indeed a great building with pure white marble and sculptural art. The building truly represents the culture and traditions also located on the banks of the Chitral River, next to Fort Chitral.
Chitral Fort (Shahi Palace) enjoys a vantage point over the river. It's still the seat of the ruler’s grandsons, so you can't come uninvited, although if you knock on the front door, someone might ask you to stick your head out the door and look at the old cannon in the yard. The entrance at the southeast end is the residential area, while the entrance facing the Shahi Bazaar is the entrance of the Royal Guard. Or you can also visit the Pamir tourist Inn which is an exclusive rest house with a great view.
This activity tour to Shahi Masjid and Fort of 3 hours, and you will get a chance of complete insight into the Chitral Ruler family.
