Sikhism is a monotheistic religion that originated in the Punjab region of the Indian Subcontinent around the end of the 15th century. It is one of the youngest religions in the world. Pakistan homes to numerous Sikh shrines; this pilgrimage tour is specially made for the Sikh fraternity to pay homage to those holy shrines. The time will start from Islamabad, which is the capital of Pakistan, with its twin city of Rawalpindi, about thirty miles from Rawalpindi, which is the Shrine of Panja Sahib. The shrine is considered a handprint of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak, and believed imprinted on a boulder at the Gurdwara. Then, in Peshawar, we will visit Gurdwara Bhai Joga Singh, Gurdwara Rori Sahib near Gujranwala, & Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur in Narowal, one of the holiest site in Sikhism. It is built on the historic site where the founder of Sikhism settled and assembled the Sikh community. Then to Gurdwara Sacha Sauda and Janam Asthan or Nankana Sahib near Sheikupura. It is named after the first Guru, born here, hence the most important religious site for them. Next, in Lahore, we will visit Gurdwara Dera Sahib, Gurdwara Chuna Mandi, and Gurdwara Sheed Ganj.
