Shah Jinalian (4259m) is a Pass linking the Rich Gol's north end to Yashkist, the upper Yarkhun Valley, wider, flatter, and more cultivated. This popular and relatively easy pass parallels the Afghan border less than 8km from the Wakhan Corridor. This trek is often combined with at least one other trek. We combine the Shah Jinali trek with the Darkot and Thui Passes to the Gilgit; moderate trekking offers dramatic views of 6000m mountains.

Arrival Islamabad, Half day city tour or Rawalpindi & Islamabad

Drive to Bumburet Kailash (12 hours)

Explore the unique culture of Kailash

Drive to Chitral (1.5 hrs). Preparations for the trekking

Drive to Rua by jeeps (8 hours)

Trek-01: Rua – Dershal (6-7 hours)

Trek-02: Dershal – Shah Ghari (3 hours)

Trek-03: Shah Ghari – Shahjinali-Ishperu Dok
