Fairy Meadow is a lush green plateau, at 3300 m, offering a breath taking view of Majestic Nanga Parbat (The Killer Mountain). Many people have called it the "Heaven on Earth". These lush, green meadows and forests lie at the base of Nanga Parbat at the western edge of the Himaliyan range in Pakistan. Fairy Meadows is a very peaceful and relaxing place to enjoy the mountain atmosphere and hospitality of the local people. The name Fairy Meadows is part of the legend that Fairies have their heaven on this lush green plateau. Hermann Buhl, the Austrian climber who made the first ascent of Nanga Parbat in 1953, named it Fairy Meadow due to its wonderful scenery.
Itinerary
Day 1
06:00 AM: Pickup from Islamabad and departure for Chillas.
Continue travel towards chillas.
Lunch stopover on way at Naran.
Dinner and overnight stay at Shangrilla Indus View Hotel, Chillas.
Day 2
07:00 Am: Breakfast
Checkout from hotel and departure for Raikot bridge
Arrival at Raikot Bridge and transfer to Jeep for Tattu Village.
Arrival at Tattu Village, lunch and start of hike to Fairy Meadows.
Arrival at Fairy Meadows.
Dinner and overnight stay in huts at Raikot Sarai, Fairy meadows.
Day 3
07:00 AM: Breakfast and set off for Nanga Parbat Base Camp.
10:00 AM: Arrival at Beyal Camp for tea break.
01:30 PM: Arrival at Nanga Parbat Base Camp.
02:30 PM: Retrace steps back to Fairy Meadows.
• Dinner & overnight stay in huts at Raikot Sarai, Fairy meadows.
Day 4
08:00 AM: Breakfast
Leave Fairy Meadows and retrace steps to Tattu Village.
Transfer to Jeep for Raikot Bridge.
Arrival at Raikot Bridge and departure for Gilgit.
Dinner and overnight stay at Embassy Lodge Gilgit.
Day 5
08:00 AM Breakfast and departure for Naltar valley.
Day visit to heavenly Naltar Valley
Lunch at Naltar and visit to Lake
Drive to Gilgit.
Dinner and Overnight stay at Embassy Lodge Gilgit.
Day 6
08:00 AM Breakfast & departure for Phandar (Ghizer Valley)
Beautiful sights and photo opportunities on way to Phandar.
Lunch at Phandar
Visit to phandar Lake.
