Phander is a village in Ghizer, in the Pakistani territory of Gilgit Baltistan. It is situated on the road from Gilgit to Shandur Pass, from where it leads on to Chitral.

Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome at Islamabad airport, and transfer to hotel, after refreshment proceed for city tour of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, which includes famous Faisal Mosque, Shakar Parian, Pakistan monument, Damen Koh, Lok Versa, Museum, Rawalpindi old bazaar, Raja Bazaar.

Day 2

Karakorum highway is 8th wonder of the world (KKH) Karakorum highway is the highest paved international road in the world. It connects China and Pakistan across the Karakorum Mountain range, through the Khunjerab Pass, at an elevation of 4,733 m/15,397 ft. It connects China’s Xinjiang region with Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa regions and also serves as a popular tourist attraction. Due to its high elevation and the difficult conditions in which it was constructed, it is also referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.

Day 3

Drive to Phander 288 km 8-9 hours, en route stop at various view point for photography and refreshment. Arrive and transfer to hotel

Day 4

Phander valley is one of the most attractive and prominent place of Ghizer District. Phander valley is famous for its most picturesque valley, deep blue lake and River Ghizer that flows through the village. Phander valley is also normally called “Little Kashmir” because of the lush green wide fields, river that flows across the village and breathtaking scenery. THe Phander Lake is also well-known for its trout fishing.

Day 5

Drive back to Gilgit 188 km, 5-6 hours, after lunch continue to drive to Chilas 135 km. Overnight at hotel

Day 6

Drive back to Besham on Karakoram highway 200 km, en route stop at various viewpoint for photography, after lunch continue drive to Islamabad 261 km.

Day 7

Transfer to Islamabad airport for international flight
