Located in Punjab Pakistan, this museum consists of a comprehensive collection of Gandharan Art which dates from the 1st to 7th Century. Most of the attractions have been excavated from the ruins of ancient Taxila. The site on which the museum has been constructed dates back from 600 to 700 BC. Lord Cheimsford laid the first stone in 1918. There are a total of 4000 objects displayed in the museum:
