The Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek is a remarkable journey through the Khumbu Valley, offering stunning views of Mount Everest. Named after Sir George Everest, the peak stands at 8,848m and was first summited in 1953 by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. The trek begins in Lukla (2,828m), passing through Namche Bazaar (3,500m) for acclimatization. Along the way, trekkers encounter Sherpa-Tibetan culture and diverse wildlife, including Blue Sheep and Himalayan Pheasants. The trail leads to Everest Base Camp via Lobuche and Gorakshep, with a climb up Kalapatthar for breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
