Known more famously for being the birthplace of the Founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Wazir Mansion was built in the 1860s, a few years before Quaid-e-Azam’s birth Kharadar, Karachi. The government of Pakistan purchased this mansion and declared it as Quaid-e-Azam’s Birthplace Museum in 1953. The government renovated this historic building significantly in 2010. Quaid-e-Azam lived in this house till he was 16. The knowledge that Quaid-e-Azam was born here and grew up here gives you a feeling of attachment with the building, and you revere not just the building but also everything inside it because you know the great leader once used all these things.
