Wazir Bagh
The construction of the Wazir Bagh was started in 1810, during the Durrani Empire, by Sardar Fateh Muhammad Khan, also known as Wazir. The garden’s trees used to be laden with different fruits. When the English envoy Sir Alexander Burnes visited Peshawar in 1832, he chose Wazir Bagh to rest because of its fantastic view. The tranquil atmosphere of the historic garden makes you feel at peace with yourself and with your surroundings. Youngsters visit Wazir Bagh to play football and cricket. Families visit the park to enjoy a picnic and spend some quality time in this stunning garden with its breathtaking views.
