Tomb of Shah Rukn e Alam

Since 1335 A.D, the ancient and historic Shrine of Shah Rukne Alam has been located inside Fort Kohna in Multan. It is a landmark and the identity of Multan city. It belongs to Sheikh Rukn ud Din Abul Fateh, generally known as Shah Rukne Alam, the grandson of Sufi Saint Bahaudin, whose shrine is near Kohna Multan. This big doom was built by Ghaus ud Din Tughlak king for himself, but was given to the saint by his son. The Saint was formerly buried with his grandfather. The tomb displays the beauty of pre-Mughal architecture in the subcontinent. It is a representative of Multani architecture.
