Teen talwar
One of the most famous symbols of Clifton, Teen Talwar (three swords), is a monument authorized by Pakistan’s former Prime Minister in 1973 to beautify Karachi. Designed by Minu Mistri, a Zoroastrian architect, the monument stood on a roundabout and was completed in 1974. The three swords are carved out of white marble. Quaid-e-Azam’s motto ‘Unity, Faith, Discipline’ is engraved on the three swords. Do Talwar and Teen Talwar are also called ‘Pillars of Strength.’ Visiting Teen Talwar, looking at the three white marble swords, and reading Quaid-e-Azam’s motto engraved on them gives you the motivation to work hard as a great leader and make Pakistan a great country by acting on Quaid’s motto.
