Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir
Constructed about 1,500 years ago and located in Soldier Bazaar, Karachi, the Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir renovation started in 2012. The temple covers an area of 2,609 square feet. Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir has the distinction of having the only statue of Hanuman, a Hindu god. According to a legend, the site of the temple was visited by Ram during his exile. A visit to Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir takes you back to the nearly 1,000 years of peaceful co-existence of Hindus and Muslims in the subcontinent. Hindus go to the temple to worship and celebrate different festivals. Still, followers of other religions also visit the temple to show their acceptance of other faiths and show inter-faith harmony.
