Shah Allah Ditta Caves

The Shah Allah Ditta Caves are located in the Margalla Hills' foothills. The caves date back 2400 years and feature Buddhist-era murals on the walls. Buddhist monks, Hindu sadhus, and Muslim ascetics have all meditated in the caves at various times. The caves bear the name of a Mughal-era dervish. The caves are also called 'Sadhu ka Bagh.' The presence of thousands of years old caves in a modern city like Islamabad is undoubtedly incredible, and so is the experience of visiting these caves. You are amazed to see the wall paintings by the people who lived there thousands of years ago. People visit these caves to explore them and marvel at the lovely wall paintings. They get inspired when they see those paintings and realize if they use all their energies in the right direction, they can do something similar, making them immortal.
