Patrick Alexander Vans Agnew Monument
The British East India Company built this monument in honor of Patrick Alexander Vans Agnew (1822-48) and Lieutenant W. A. Anderson. They were killed by Diwan Mulraj Chopra, the Diwan of Multan. Finally, their deaths led to Punjab's conquest by the British East India Company and its annexation as part of the British Empire. Now the monument is inside the Qasim Bagh, the fort of Kohna Multan.
