Pakistan Monument

Located on the western Shakarparian Hills and covering 6.9 acres, this petal-shaped monument was opened to the public on 23rd March 2007 by President General Musharraf. The four large petals symbolize the different cultures of the four provinces of Pakistan. The three smaller petals represent minorities, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. A visit to Pakistan Monument fills you with patriotism. The monument's unique construction reminds you of Quaid's motto, "unity, faith, discipline," and you understand that if we set aside our differences and behave as one nation, we may become one of the world's finest nations, as Quaid-e-Azam envisioned. A large number of visitors go to see the characteristic architecture and admire its uniqueness. Tourists take this opportunity to visit the adjacent Pakistan Monument Museum, a wax museum, a reference library, an audio-visual archive, a conference hall, and an auditorium.
