This tall mountain, at a height of 8,611 meters above sea level, is the 2nd highest mountain in the world. A famous spot for climbing for people around the world due to its tough and unstable environment and very steep routes. The route to K2 goes through the famous Shigar Valley and Baltoro Glacier region of Baltistan. There are several high peaks that are situated on the world’s largest temperate zone glacier. Only the highest or most prominent ones have been named or climbed.
