Jillani Park

Jilani Park is one of the most aesthetically pleasing parks in Lahore. It was inaugurated by the former Governor of Punjab, Ghulam Jilani Khan, in 1985. It spreads over 88 acres and is located on Jail Road, opposite Services Hospital. Jilani Park was previously known as ‘Race Course Park’ because of the annual horse races. It is named after the former Governor of Punjab, Ghulam Jilani Khan. Visiting a park-like Jilani Park soothes you, and you can have a sigh of relief as you breathe fresh air and enjoy natural beauty, momentarily forgetting about the hustle and bustle of everyday life. People visit this lush green park with its stunning artificial waterfall and lake to get much-needed fresh air. Besides having picnics, visitors also enjoy boating in the lake and are mesmerized by its floral exhibitions. For fitness-conscious people, there is a jogging track in the park.
