Habib Bank Plaza

Constructed to mark the silver jubilee of Habib Bank, Habib Bank Plaza serves as the head office of Habib Bank Limited. Located on I. I. Chundrigar Road, the construction of Habib Bank Plaza started in 1963 and it was completed in 1972. At an elevation of 311 feet, Habib Bank Plaza was the tallest building in South Asia for almost a decade and the tallest building of Pakistan for four decades. Because it is one of the tallest buildings in Pakistan, the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee often holds its moon-sighting meeting here. For those who are fascinated by skyscrapers, Habib Bank Plaza gives them the opportunity to have a look at the biggest city of Pakistan from one of the tallest buildings in Pakistan. Other than visiting the building for banking purposes, people visit Habib Bank Plaza to experience the thrill of being in one of the tallest buildings of Pakistan and to enjoy a bird’s-eye view of Karachi.
