Ghanta Ghar, Multan
Ghanta Ghar, or Clock Tower of Multan, was built in 1884 A.D. during the British Raj. The building's architecture is in Victorian-era Gothic and Neo-Classical styles with the Muslim traditions of the Raj in India. It was constructed in four years and completed in 1884. After the independence of Pakistan, it was used as an office by the government for different meetings, but later the building became insufficient for office. Now the city government is thinking of changing this historic clock tower into a museum.
