Chudiyani (Bangles) is the compulsory element for any south Asian woman to complete their traditional outfit. These traditional bangles are delicately made out of the glass with gold designs and vibrant colors and are an element of every conventional outfit. Perhaps one of the most famous places to get bangles is the choori Bazar in Hyderabad Sindh Pakistan, a wholesale market south of the main Shahi Qila Chowk, and this market deals in bangles. Choori bazaar is bustling during Ramadan and the days before eid when ladies rush to get mat hi g bangles for their eid dresses. The traditional way of making a bangle is a complicated, multi-step procedure that required about 25 laborers to make one bangle, and women do 80% of the job. The making and wearing of bangles have been very intrinsic in Pakistan culture for centuries. Pakistan is pushing its glass manufacturers into the export market to tap into the growing demand in the Middle East, Afghanistan, Siri Lanka and Bangladesh, and other Asian residents. TDAP has planned displays of glass bangles in foreign consulates and embassies to attract foreign buyers and visitors as part of promotional activity. The product's quality currently being produced needs to be enhanced with more focus on innovations and new designs.
