Which are the best mobile network operators for travelers in North Pakistan? There are many options to choose from but when it comes to frequent traveling in remote areas then one must do some research and choose the one which works in most of the areas with good signal strength.
Chitral
Chitral is one of KPK’s most distant districts, with a high literacy rate across the province. The importance of having access to the internet has long been recognized in the area. PTCL has just launched cable-based internet (broadband) technology.
All the mobile networks work well in the valley. You will not face any difficulty with the mobile network. Jazz/Ward, Telenor, Zong, Scom, and every network provide you a good network to stay connected with your loved ones.
Swat
There are PTCL internet services available in Swat, but sometimes it shows a very poor network connection. If you want to use your mobile services there, then you must take Zong or Telenor Sim with you. Both catch good signals even in Tops.
The Ministry of Information Technology Pakistan is also working at its best to provide fast internet services there to promote tourism at the international level.
Gilgit Baltistan & Kashmir
In Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) and Gilgit Baltistan, there are six cellular mobile operators i.e. Jazz, Telenor, Ufone, CMPak, Warid and Special Communication Organization (SCO) are providing services in the said area.
Hunza & Skardu
Telenor and Zong are the best service providers in Hunza and Skardu.
